You've Got Questions.. Here Are Some Answers.

Is Organic Color Safe?

Organic Colour Systems is safe to use on Expectant Mothers in their Second Trimester. They are Ammonia and Formaldehyde Free, with some of the Lowest PPD's in the Industry.

What Are PPD's?

Also known as paraphenylenediamine,  PPD is an organic compound used in hair dyes, as well as in rubber chemicals, textile dyes and pigments. In other words, it helps the new color stay on your hair despite numerous washes.

PPD is not banned anywhere in the world, although the EU does have a 2% maximum level for use in hair dyes. People working with PPD such as Hairdressers may develop dermatitis on their hands.

Does It Cover Grey and Does it Last?

Yes and Yes...

There are always some exceptions to the rule. Resistant Grey is Resistant to almost any hair coloring, including the ones that use Ammonia.

It has been reported by clients that the color lasts longer, with less fading and more shine.

Here's how it works...

The coloring process does not open up the cuticle on the hair the way ammonia does. The Oil Based color softens and swells the cuticle so as to avoid permanently opening and damaging the cuticle. This leaves the cuticle smoother and sealed therefore resulting in Less Fading (Loss of Pigment) and much more Natural Shine.
